Will the kick mat for the front seat work around a DVD monitor behind the front head rest?
You should be able to still use the DVD monitor as long as it sits on/in the headrest itself.

Is there any "grippy" features on the material to gelp hold the protector to the seats and the carseat in place on the protective mat?
The back of them is made out of a non-slip mesh to keep them in place.
